White Rann of Kutch is a popular salt desert located near Dhordo village of Kutch Gujarat. Every year, government of Gujarat organizes Rann Utsav (Rann of Kutch festival) at this place where you can enjoy stay in near desert area and can explore this White Rann of Kutch.
White rann / desert is spread in around 7505 square KM and considered as one of the largest salt desert in the world. As most of the part of this desert is not easily accessible to public, white desert near Dhordo village is the place which is famous among tourist. Dhordo village is located at 80KM from Bhuj city of Kutch and can be easily accessible via road. Here road condition is really nice and it will take maximum 1 and half hour drive from the Bhuj. You will require taking permission at Bhirandiara check post at nominal fees.
