Sindhrot Check Dam is a beautiful place just 14 kilometers from Vadodara. It is located in Sindhrot Village and looks over the Mahi River. Originally built for water preservation, it is now a popular spot for outings among young people and locals. People enjoy jumping into the water for a swim. The sunset is always beautiful, especially by the river. There are also many small restaurants where you can enjoy snacks like Vadapav, Dal-vada, and roasted peanuts. The best part of this location is; you can have a safe bath in one side of the check dam which is 3-4 fit deep. If you are traveling with kids, make sure they don't walk to other part of the dam which is slippery and deep.
There are no entry fees to visit Sindhrot Check Dam.
The dam is accessible from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
