Rainbow Waterfall

Rainbow waterfall is very popular and serene fall located near Nongrait village at around 18KM from Sohra (Cherrapunji). This place is only visited through hike as there is no motorable road available. This is why Rainbow waterfall is still staying clean and most loved place amongst tourist especially who love adventure and wanted to spend time in nature.

Rainbow waterfall is located at around 1 to 2 hours of hike from Double Decker Living root bridge near Nongrait village. 

How to Reach Rainbow Waterfall

If you are planning to visit Rainbow waterfall, you will need to start very early from Tyrna village as you will have to follow below steps: 

• Park your vehicle at Tyrna village living root bridge parking
• Climb down to 3000 steps to reach at Nongrait village (2-3 hours)
• Small hike to reach at Double decker living root bridge (around 30 minutes to 1 hour of hike)
• From double decker living root bridge, another 2 hours of hike to reach at Rainbow waterfall. 

As you understand from given details, if you are physically fit and active; you may do this entire trip within a day. But if you are having time, we recommend staying night at home stay near double decker bridge and plan your return next day.
