Nishkalank Mahadev Temple is located at Koliyak near Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The temple is located about a kilometer into the sea and it is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has 5 distinct self-manifested Shiva lingams on a square platform and each lingam has a Nandi statue facing it and also representing one of the Pandavas from the Mahabharata.
The temple attracts many devotees during “Bhadrvi Amas” which is considered the most sacred day to visit. On this day thousands of people come to seek blessings. The temple is known for its beautiful atmosphere. The temple is located near the sea, so you can take in the beautiful views of the surroundings. Pandavas following Lord Krishna’s advice and reached Koliyak beach near Bhavnagar. At the beach, they set up five Shiva Lingas in the sea and prayed.
