Humayun's Tomb is the tomb of the mughal emperor humayun build in 1569-70 located at Delhi. It’s the first garden tomb on Indian subcontinent and was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1993. The Humayun's Mausoleum, built of red sandstone, was the first garden type tomb to be built in India. The Humayun's Tomb is located near the dargah of famed Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya on the banks of the Yamuna. The Humayun tomb's architecture is heavily influenced by Persian architecture. Today, the mausoleum is a popular tourist destination in Delhi.
