History:

In 1612 following the Englishmen, Dutch traders arrived in Surat establishing an epicenter for their businessmen, now known as Dutch Garden. By 1852, Surat evolved into Gujarat's major business hub, attracting numerous English and Dutch traders significantly boosting the local economy.
