A Bhaja or Bhaje cave is an ancient site located near Bhaja village of Maval taluke on Pune Mumbai highway at around 60KM from Pune city. This site is protected by Archaeological survey of India which attracts tourist all over the world.

How to reach:

If you are travelling from Pune, take a Pune Mumbai highway and drive towards Lonavala. At around 60 KM, you will find sign board to take left to reach Bhaje village which is located around 7 KM from the highway.

If you are travelling in monsoon season, you can also enjoy the waterfall just before the bhaje caves.

You can also visit Karla caves and Lonavala when you plan your trip to Bhaje. Just go back to Pune Mumbai highway and drive toward Lonavala. Within few minutes you will find a sign board to take right toward Ekvira Devi Temple which is also known as Karla cave. This is one of the most ancient archaeological site having beautiful wooden carving has done in caves.
