Atal Sarovar is one of the major lakes identified within the Rajkot Smart City. On May 1, 2024, Rajkot Municipal Corporation launched Atal Sarovar in honor of Gujarat Foundation Day. It was built on a 300,000 square meter plot. Numerous tourist attractions are available for exploration including food courts, amphitheaters, laser and musical fountain shows, botanical gardens, and walkways.
The park is open from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday-Saturday) and 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (Sunday), with entry closing at 10:30 PM. Tickets cost Rs. 25 for adults and Rs. 10 for children below 12 years, while the Musical Fountain Amphitheater and rides cost Rs. 80 each. The best time to visit is in the evening to enjoy the vibrant fountain show. Ideal for families and nature lovers, Atal Sarovar is a perfect weekend getaway!
