CM Launches Theme Song of Winter Carnival:

The theme song for the Winter Carnival Shimla 2024-25 which will take place from 24 December 2024 to 2 January 2025 was introduced by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. In order to boost tourism in the state the current State Government launched this carnival last year and it has proven to be successful, he said. He hoped that this year’s carnival would be a huge success and urged guests to enjoy it.

He also noted that Shimla city is experiencing snowfall in December, which will attract more tourists. He wished the Municipal Corporation and District Administration Shimla all the best for organizing the festival. MLA Harish Janartha and Mayor of Shimla Municipal Corporation, Surender Chauhan, were also present at the event.
