The International Tourism Mart is an annual tourism event arranged by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India to highlight the North-Eastern region of India in association with Mizoram Tourism at Aizwal from November 17, 2022, to November 19, 2022.
The ITM event is organized on a rotation basis in the North-Eastern states. Mizoram is revving up to host the International Tourism Mart event for the first time to deliberate the way forward for tourism especially in North India.
Nowadays India is fast emerging as a foremost tourist destination. The main goal of this marvelous event is to showcase the tourism potential of the North-Eastern region locally and globally. There are plenty of opportunities for the tourism industry particularly in this region and this provides a platform for tourism and hospitality entrepreneurs, tourists, resort owners, media personnel, tour organizers, and bloggers to take a close look.
Apart from meeting with delegates nationally and internationally, there will be presentations on tourism potentials by the state governments, amidst cultural fanfare, meeting with news and media executives.
